The work never really ends
Arrakis teaches the attitude of the knife - chopping off what's incomplete and saying: 'Now, it's complete because it's ended here.'
― Frank Herbert, Dune
Create space for work, bounded by a start time and an end time. Work earnestly and in good faith between those markers. But when you hit the end, stop. The work is not done but you are.
If you think you can finish the work, that you can get to the end of it, you are chasing the horizon. The work never really ends.
